The HRG2000 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2000. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The HRG2000 was a spot model created exclusively for the Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The HRG2000 features neck through body construction with Honduran mahogany wings with a 4mm thick AAAA quilted maple top attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with white pearloid binding and pearl Tree of Life inlays. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
