The HRG1702 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J Custom line. The HRG1702 was a spot model created exclusively for the Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.[1]
The HRG1702 features selected mahogany body with selected premium AAAAA flamed maple top bolted to a maple wizard neck with a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers and white side dots. Components include a DiMarzio Air Norton humbucking pickup on the neck position and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucking pickup on the bridge position, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh machine heads, Gotoh Strap lock pins and black hardware.
