The HBTB475AH is a five string BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in late 2012. It was produced in Indonesia as part of the Standard line. It was a spot model which was offered for sale only by Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The HBTB475AH features neck through body construction with ash wings attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Ibanez CAP-EXF passive pickups with an Ibanez EQB-IIID preamp with a three-band EQ, individually mounted Mono-rail II bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik ¼" stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The BTB475AH is a similar regular production model with a Brown Burst Flat finish. The BTB675 is a related model with a walnut top and different electronics.
