The Gotoh GE101Z tailpiece is used to retain the guitar strings on a number of hard-tail Ibanez models. It is designed and produced by Gotoh Gut Company in Japan.

The GE101Z tailpiece is diecast from zinc. It is retained to the guitar body with a pair of screws mounted into inserts glued into the guitar body. It serves to retain the strings at the bridge end. Ball end strings are fed into the tailpiece and once attached to the tuning machine are held securely by the ball. The height of the mounting posts is adjustable.

The GE101Z tailpiece relies on a separate bridge which allows the string height and intonation to be adjusted. It is generally used in conjunction with a Gotoh GE103B-T Tune-o-matic style bridge.

Guitar models using the GE103B-T bridge include the 2014 Genesis Collection Artist series models. It is offered in either chrome or gold finishes on various models.
