The GSZ220 is an SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It replaced the similar GSZ220A as the sole SZ model in the affordable GIO line. The GSZ220 was a spot model which never appeared in a catalog.

The GSZ220 has an arched top SZ body. It features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge with tailpiece.

The GSZ220 was discontinued after 2013 along with the SZ series.
