The GSRM20N is a short scale Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was produced in China as part of the entry level GIO line. It is offered only in China.
The GSRM20N features a double-cutaway poplar body bolted to a 28.6" scale maple neck with a 22-fret purpleheart fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Standard pickups with a jazz pickup at the bridge and a precision pickup at the neck, a B10 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
The GSRM20 is a similar model offered in other markets. The GSRM20B is a similar model with black hardware. The GSRM20M is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The GSRM20L is a left-handed version. The GSRM25 is a similar five string model. The GSRM30 is a related model with a pair of jazz pickups.
The GRSRM20N was discontinued in 2020.
