The GSR370 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2012. It is made in China as part of the entry level GIO line.
The GSR370 features a quilted art grain top on a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez passive jazz pickups, a B10 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2014 the body material was changed to poplar. For 2018 the fretboard was changed to treated New Zealand pine. For 2019 the fretboard was again changed, this time to either treated New Zealand pine or purpleheart. For 2021 the fretboard was just purpleheart.
