The GSR250B is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2016. It was made in China as part of the entry level GIO line. It replaced the GSR250 which is a very similar model with cosmo black hardware.
The GSR250B features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Standard passive pickups, a B10 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2018 the fretboard was changed to Treated New Zealand pine.
The GSR255B and GSR256B are five and six string versions.
