The GSR206L is a left-handed, six string Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It is made in Indonesia as part of the entry level GIO line.
The GSR206L features a double-cutaway agathis body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Dynamix passive bass pickups, a B16 bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2015 the body material was changed to mahogany.
The GSR200L and GSR205L are similar four and five string models. The GSR206 is a right-handed version.
The GSR206L was discontinued after 2015.
