The GSR200EX is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2009. It was produced in China as part of the entry level GIO line.
The GSR250M features a double-cutaway body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez PPD4 pickups channeled through an active Phat II EQ, a B10 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, Ibanez tuning machines, and black hardware.
The body material is variously referred to as basswood, mahogany or nato. It's not clear whether there were different versions produced for different markets/ years, or if these are just erroneous catalog descriptions.
