The GSR100 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was made in both Indonesia and China as part of the entry level GIO line. It is referred to in some markets as GSR100Z.
The GSR100 features a double-cutaway agathis body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a black headstock. Components include a single Ibanez Powersound passive Precision pickup at the neck, a standard bridge, a plastic nut, Ibanez tuning machines and chrome hardware.
In 2003 the bridge was changed to the B10. The body was changed to Nato for 2007.
The GSR100L is a left-handed version.
The GSR100 was discontinued after 2007.
