The GRX90 is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was produced in Indonesia and China as part of the entry-level GIO line. It is also known as the GRX90A.
The GRX90 features a gravure simulated quilted top on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil and a FAT-6 six-screw synchronized tremolo bridge.
The GRX90 is sold only in Asia. In Japan it comes packaged with a beginner's kit including a strap, tuner, cleaning cloth, picks and small accessory pouch.
This GRX90 was discontinued after 2017, but a new version was introduced for 2021.
