GRX70QA Transparent Blue Burst (2021) (more images)

The GRX70QA is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2011. It is part of the entry-level GIO line. This model is produced in factories in China and Indonesia for delivery in various worldwide markets; as such, some specifications may vary even within the same model year depending on the market.

The GRX70QA features a basswood body with an art grain simulated quilted maple veneer bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, and a synchronized tremolo bridge.

In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.[1] For 2018 GRX70QA models sold in the USA market get the T106 tremolo; this tremolo was offered across the board in 2019. For 2020 the fretboard was changed to purpleheart for models sold in the USA market and to jatoba for other markets.

The GRX70QAL is a left-handed version.
