The GRX70 is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2000. It is part of the affordable GIO line. It was also sold as part of a Jumpstart package.[1]

The GRX70 features a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration.

The GRX70DX is a similar model with sharktooth fretboard position markers. The GRX50 is another similar model with a pickguard. The GRX70L is a left-handed version.

The GRX70 was produced simultaneously in Indonesia and China and there may be small differences between the models produced in the different factories. It was discontinued after 2003.
