GRX55B Yellow (more images)

The GRX55B is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It was made in China as part of the entry-level GIO line

The GRX55B features Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH pickup configuration and a six-screw synchronized tremolo bridge.

In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.[1] For 2018 GRX55B models sold in Asia got the new T106 tremolo; this tremolo was offered worldwide in 2019.

The GRX40 is a similar model with a single coil pickup in the neck position. The GRX55 was a short-lived model from late 2014 which is similar to the GRX55B except that it has chrome hardware.

The GRX55B was discontinued after 2019.
