GRX20W White (more images) |
The GRX20W is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2014. It is produced in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GRX20W features a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with as 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of pickguard-mounted white humbucking pickups and a non-locking two-point synchronized tremolo bridge.
In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.[1] For 2018 the tremolo was specified as the T106. For 2019 the 3-way pickup selector was swapped out for a 5-way lever. For 2020 the fretboard was replaced with jatoba.
The GRX20Z differs only in the color of the pickups and pickguard.
