The GRGA42TQA is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was made in China as part of the entry level GIO line.
The GRGA42TQA features a quilted art grain top on a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual EMG covered humbucking pickups and a locking nut.
The GRGA42T is similar but lacks the decorative top. Also new for 2011 is a hard-tail similar to the GRGA42TQA, the GRGA42QA.
The GRGA42TQA was one of only a few RGA models to be offered after 2013. It was discontinued after 2015.
