The GRGA120 is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2016. It is part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GRGA120 features a poplar body with contrasting binding bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include a six screw synchronized tremolo bridge and dual Ibanez humbucking pickups.[1]
In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.[2] For 2018 the standard tremolo was replaced with the T102 and the 3-way pickup selector was swapped for a 5-way. For 2020 the fretboard was changed to purpleheart.
The GRGA120QA is a similar model with a quilted art grain top.
The GRGA120 was available from October 2016.
