The GRG7221M is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2018. It is produced in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GRG7221M features a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez humbucking pickups mounted in pickup rings, an Ibanez F107 fixed bridge, a plastic nut and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
For 2019 the 3-way pickup selector was replaced with a 5-way with automatic coil splitting.
