The GRG220PA is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was made in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

The GRG220PA features a okoume body bolted to a maple neck with a 24 jumbo frets bound purpleheart fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Classic Elite Passive/Ceramic humbucking pickups a T106 tremolo bridge and gold hardware.

The GRG220PA was discontinued after 2022; it was replaced for 2023 by the GRG220PA1 which is a similar model with chrome hardware.
