The GRG170 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2004 as part of the affordable GIO line. The GRG170 replaced the RG170.

The GRG170 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil.

A similar model with sharktooth inlays was available as the GRG170DX.
