GRG121SP Blue Metal Chameleon (more images)

The GRG121SP is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2022. It is made in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

The GRG121SP features a poplar body bolted to a roasted maple neck with a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Classic Elite humbucking pickups, an F106 fixed bridge, a plastic nut and chrome hardware.

A Black Night finish was added in late 2022 and a new Green Yellow Chameleon finish was added for 2023 (this finish is not offered in the US market).

For 2024, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Thomann music store, an exclusive limited edition model in a silver finish was made.
