The GRG121EXS is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2016. It was made in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

The GRG121EXS features an art grain top with binding on a poplar body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity R humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge. Controls consist of only a master volume and a 3-way toggle pickup selector.

The GRG121EX is a similar model without the decorative top.

The GRG121EXS was offered only in 2016 and replaced by the GRG121EXSM which has a spalted maple top.
