The GRG-TW is a twin neck, RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2011. It was produced in China as part of the entry-level GIO line. This special model commemorated the 60th Anniversary of Hoshino's central/eastern European distributor Roland Meinl Musikinstrumente; it was sold only in Germany.
The GRG-TW features both a short-scale (miKro) 6-string neck and a 12-string neck with a 25½" scale. Both necks have 24-fret rosewood fingerboards with white dot position markers and are bolted to basswood body. Components include a pair of Ibanez Powersound humbucking pickup]]s for each neck which are mounted in a pickguard on the upper (12-string) neck and in black plastic pickup rings for the lower neck, a pair of fixed bridges and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The GRG-TW was offered only in 2011 and it's believed that just 60 examples were produced.
