The GART60 is an ART series single cutaway solid body electric guitar model introduced in 2010 by Ibanez as part of the affordable GIO line. It was produced in China.
The GART60 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a Full Tune III Tune-O-Matic style bridge.
The GART60 is the only ART guitar in the GIO line which has an arched top other than the GART60FA. All other GIO ARTs have a crystal-cut body.
In mid-2017 a new fretboard material, treated New Zealand pine, replaced rosewood.[1]
The GART60 was initially part of the 2010 Limited Edition series in Europe, but has been a part of the regular lineup since 2011. It was discontinued after 2019.
