The GA5FMTCE is a GA series classical acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2024. It is produced in China.
The GA5FMTCE features a thinline classical body with a Venetian cutaway and a laminated flamed maple top with fan bracing on laminated sapele sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a classical mosaic decal rosette. It has an okume neck with a 21-fret purpleheart fingerboard. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge, a plastic nut, gold classical tuning machines and coated nylon strings.
Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup mated to an AEQ-TP2 preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a ¼" stereo output.
The GA5MHTCE is a related model with a laminated sapele top.
