The GA40FMCE is an GA series classical acoustic/ electric guitar model intoduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was made in South Korea.
The GA40FMCE features a single cutaway classical body shape with a flamed maple top on flamed maple back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with an intricate inlaid marquetry rosette. It has a mahogany neck, a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with a matching headstock. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with tie block, a bone nut, and gold classic tuning machines with pearloid buttons. Electronics are a piezo pickup with 3-Band EQ.
The GA40 is a related model with spruce top on flamed maple body missing the cutaway and electronics.
The GA40FMCE was discontinued after 1994.
