The GA35TCE is a GA series classical acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2013. It is produced in Indonesia.
The GA35TCE features a thin classical body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top with fan bracing on mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a classical mosaic decal rosette. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut, gold classical tuning machines and nylon strings.
The GA35TCE's electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup mated to an AEQ210T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding balanced XLR and ¼" stereo outputs.
For 2018 the back and sides were replaced with sapele. For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with nyatoh and the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with laurel. For 2020 the fretboard and bridge were changed to walnut; they were changed back to rosewood for 2025. The body dimensions were changed slightly for 2022.
The GA35CE is a similar model with a traditional body depth. The GA30TCE is a similar model with chrome hardware. The GA34STCE is a related model with a solid spruce top among other differences. The GA39TCE is a related model with flamed maple construction and a maple bridge and fretboard.
