The GA30TCE is a GA series classical acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It is made in China.
The GA30TCE features a thin classical body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top with fan bracing on mahogany sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a classical mosaic decal rosette. The mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and has a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut, gold classical tuning machines and nylon strings.
The GA30TCE's electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup mated to an AEQ210T preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding balanced XLR and ¼" stereo outputs.
For 2018 the back and sides were replaced with sapele. For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with nyatoh and the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with walnut.
The GA35TCE is a similar model with gold hardware. The G40TCE is a related model with a solid Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and gold tuners.
