The GA30 is an GA series classical acoustic guitar model intoduced by Ibanez for 1989. It was produced in Korea. It was part of the Performance series

The GA30 features a classical body shape with a spruce top on mahogany back and sides. The soundhole is round and trimmed with an intricate inlaid wood rosette. It has a nato neck, a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with a rosewood headstock. Components include a none compensated bone saddle in a bubinga bridge with tie block , a bone nut, and chrome plated classic tuning machine.

For 1994 the neck material was changed to mahogany, the body to nato and the bridge to rosewood. For 1998 the body was changed to mahogany, the hardware to gold and the finish to yellow gloss (YG)

The GA40 is a similar model with cedar top and ovangkol body. GA80 is a similar model with cedar top a nato body, rosewood bridge and gold hardware.

The GA30 was discontinued after 1998.
