The GA15-3Q is a ¾-sized GA series classical acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It was made in China. It is also referred to as the GA15-3/4 or GA15-¾.
The GA15-3Q features a ¾ size classical body shape with a cedar top with fan bracing on mahogany back and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a rosewood rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood twelve-hole classical bridge, a plastic nut and gold classical tuning machines.
For 2018 the back and sides were replaced with sapele, the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with purpleheart and the rosewood rosette was replaced with walnut. For 2019 the mahogany neck was replaced with okoume.
The GA15 and the GA15-HF are, respectively full-sized and half-sized versions.
