It has a mahogany neck attached to the body with a traditional Spanish joint with a slotted headstock and a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with no position markers. Components include a bone saddle in a 12-hole classical rosewood bridge, a bone nut, gold classical tuning machines and Savarez nylon strings.

The G300CE is a related acoustic-electric model with a cutaway body. The G500 is a similar model with rosewood sides and back and antique brass hardware.
