The G104 is a Grooveline series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2011 as one of the initial models in the series. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The G104 features an ash top and back on a playfully organic double-cutaway alder body bolted to a titanium reinforced wenge and bubinga neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with only side position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez CAP Sonic Arch4 passive pickups feeding an Ibanez E4 preamp with a three-band EQ (which can be bypassed), a Tight-End Bass 4 bridge with 19mm string spacing, a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The G105 and G106 are similar five string and six string models.
The G104 was discontinued in 2015 along with the entire Grooveline series.
