The RRG4 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The RRG4 was a spot model created exclusively for the Japanese retailer Rock Inn.
The RRG4 features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard neck with VelveTouch finish and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with Tree of Life inlays. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RRG5 and RRG6 are related models which were introduced simultaneously.
The RRG4 was made only in 2008 and its believed that only 6 examples were produced.
