The RG7EXFX is a seven string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2006. It was produced in Korea. It was part of a small group of models marketed as the "RG Extreme Edition".

The RG7EXFX features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 27" scale length and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and small offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of active EMG humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge.

The RG7EXFX was available only in 2006 and was replaced by the very similar RG7EXFX2.
