The RG420FB is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009.

Ther RG420FB features a mahogany body with a figured bubinga top bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Infinity humbucking pickups and an Edge III double locking tremolo bridge.

The RG420CM is a similar model with a cinnamon top.

The RG420FB was replaced for 2011 with the RG420FBZ which featured the new Edge Zero II tremolo.
