The MRG4 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2003. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The MRG4 is also referred to as the MRG4QMG. It was a spot model sold exclusively by Japanese retailer Kurosawa Gakki.

The MRG4 features a mahogany body with a AAAA grade quilted maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga Ultra neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with flamed maple binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. It's unusual among J Custom models due to use of a pickguard.

The MRG5 is a similar model without the pickguard and with Tree of Life fretboard inlays.

The MRG4 was produced only in 2004. The MRG12 from 2010 is a re-creation of this model with slight modification.
