The RGR5220M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2019. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end Prestige line.
The RGR5220M features an ash top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a reverse headstock and a birdseye maple fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, offset mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Bare Knuckle Brute Force humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RGR5221 is a similar model with a fixed bridge and a Macassar ebony fretboard. The RGR5227MFX is a similar seven string model with a fixed bridge. The RGR5220MF is a similar model with a flamed maple top.
