The DN500 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. Along with the DN400, it was the initial model in the new Darkstone series. It was made in China.

The DN500 features a sapele body with top binding mated to a set-in sapele neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and a Tight Tune bridge and tailpiece.

A limited white edition was introduced in 2009, and it returned in the regular lineup for 2010.

The DN500K is a similar model with cosmo black hardware. The DN1PRM is a special edition of the DN500 with an aluminum body decoration and red accents which was produced for the 2010 Winter NAMM show.

The DN500 was discontinued after 2012.
