The GRG170BBW is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2015. It was produced in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

The GRG170BBW features a burl wood top on a basswood body mated to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez Infinity R pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil and a FAT-10 synchronized tremolo bridge.

The GRG170BSW is a similar model with a spalted wood top. The GRG170DXB is another similar model without the exotic top.

The GRG170BBW comes with a beginner's kit including a strap, tuner, cleaning cloth, picks and small accessory pouch.

The GRG170BBW was discontinued after 2017.
