The RG2680M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2002.
The RG2680M features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple Ultra neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2680 is a similar model with a rosewood fingerboard.
The RG2680M was offered only in Japan and was discontinued after just one year.
