The RG9570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1999. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the J Custom series. This model was introduced as the JCRG-2, but the model name was changed starting in 2001.
The RG9570 features neck-through construction with Honduran mahogany body wings with a flame maple top attached to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with flame maple binding and offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG9670 is a very similar model with pearl gold hardware and Tree of Life vine fretboard inlay. The RG8570 is another similar model without the neck-through construction and with a rosewood fretboard and cosmo black hardware.
