The SS140 is a Jumpstart package offered by Ibanez in 1997. The package consists of a Stagestar series solid body electric guitar along with everything one would need to start playing it: an amp, cable, tuner, strap, gig bag, picks and various instructional materials.
The SS140 features a solid body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fretboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups in an HSS configuration.
The SS140 was discontinued after just one year in production.
