The RG505 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 1995. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG505 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a black headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with dot position markers. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and pickguard mounted Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration.

The RG507 is a similar model without the pickguard. The RG550 is a similar model with a slightly different neck profile.

The RG505 was sold only in Europe and was discontinued after 1999.
