The RG570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model produced for Ibanez by FujiGen. It was originally introduced in 1989 and available worldwide through 1992. This version for 1993 and 1994 was very similar to the previous version but was available only in Japan.
The RG570 features a basswood body with a one-piece quartersawn maple neck attached with a tilt joint with a metal plate. The Wizard neck has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. It has Ibanez V1 and V2 humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil which are mounted to the body with pickup rings. The bridge is the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo. Other components include a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG550 is a similar model with a pickguard; the RG550 also generally has a maple fretboard, though some were produced with rosewood. The RG560 is another similar model with a single coil pickup at the neck in place of the RG570's humbucker.
The RG570GF is a similar model with a gravure flame top and gold hardware.
