FR6UC Black Flat Red copyright sprite

The FR6UC is an FR series solid body electric guitar model first released by Ibanez in mid 2014. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as one of the initial models in the high-end Prestige Uppercut line.

The FR6UC features a mahogany body mated to a 24-fret maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include a pair of made-in-England Bare Knuckle humbucking pickups, a Tight End fixed bridge, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Gotoh locking tuners.

The FR6UCS is a similar model with stainless steel frets which was offered in Japan as a spot model starting in 2016. The FR6UCS replaced this model completely for 2017.
