The EXB405 is a EXB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1989. It was produced in South Korea as part of the Standard line. It is also called EX405

The EXB405 features a (very similar RG shape) double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers, white side dots and a black headstock. Components includes Powersound pickups (P/P) configuration, an standard fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a grahite nut, chrome hardware and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.

The EXB404 is a four string model with a PJ configuration.

The EXB405 was offered only in 1989.
