The EX270 is an EX series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1993. It was made in Korea. This version with the rosewood fretboard was offered only in European markets.
This EX270 features a plywood body mated to a one-piece maple neck with a traditional neck joint with a metal plate. It has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. The pickups are Ibanez EX Standard humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking a single coil. Other components include a single-locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
The EX270 (maple fretboard) is a related model that was sold in the US market. Multiple differences exist between the two models including the pickups and the type of wood used for the body and fretboard.
The EX270 was discontinued after 1993 along with the rest of the EX line.
