EX170 is a model name used to describe several distinct solid body guitar models produced by Ibanez.
All EX170 models are made in Korea as part of the EX series. They all feature traditional bolt-on one-piece maple necks with 22-frets and dot position markers, synchronized tremolo bridges and Ibanez-made pickups in a humbucker/ single-coil / humbucker configuration. Except as noted below all have chrome hardware. Differences between the models are noted below.
