The EX170FM is an EX series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1993. It was made in Korea.

This EX170FM features an alder body with a flame maple top mated to a one-piece maple neck with a traditional neck joint with a metal plate. It has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. The pickups are Ibanez EX humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking an EX single coil. Other components include a synchronized tremolo bridge.

The EX170 is a related model with a plywood body.

This EX170FM was discontinued after 1993 along with the rest of the EX line.
